My friend has this rug and after I saw how tight it was woven and the top knotch quality of it, I went home and bought it.

Used it for yoga on the grass
I brought this rug to a yoga class that took place outside on grass and it did great. It is hard to use a rubber mat grass as it doesn't mold to the grass very well. The rug does.

Awesome Sweat Absorber
I bring this rug with me everyday to Bikram yoga and use it as a mat. It absorbs all of my sweat. I wash it everytime after class and it has held up and doesn't seem to show any wear.

Great on Grass
I love practicing yoga in my yard and I find that the rubber mats are just no good for that. The yoga rugs however are perfect.

Anti-Rubber Mats
I really don't like using rubber mats to practice yoga on and that is all my yoga studio has. Someone recommended that I check out yogaaccessories.com and look at their yoga rugs. I did and purchased one and I am so happy with it. One recommendation is to make sure that you spray it with water if your yoga studio has wood floors so you don't slide all over.
