Why should I brand my yoga mats?

Whether you own a single studio, or multiple studios either in the private sector or in the nonprofit world, building and maintaining your brand is the most important function you have. A strong brand creates recognition of your studio and builds trust with your students. A studio is a community and students prefer to buy their products from people and businesses they trust. They trust you! Branding will help your students to share the pride and joy they get from practicing yoga at your studio with friends and colleagues.

Building a strong brand takes imagination and hard work. But more than that, more important than a great logo or an unforgettable tag line is one thing: consistency. You must also use it everywhere: Dont be shy. Its OK if its small, or tucked in a corner. But be sure your students see it every chance they have. Thats what creates name and identity recognition. And it takes more exposure than you may expect.
