The Extra Wide 1/4'' Deluxe Yoga Mat is 50% wider than standard yoga mats (which are 24'' wide). It's a thick, dense mat that not only provides adequate padding, but holds up extremely well over time. At 6.2mm, our extra wide yoga mat is a full 1/4'' thick, and is one of the thickest mats on the market. When shopping around for a yoga mat, note that what many other companies call a 1/4'' mat is actually 4.5 - 5.2 mm in thickness -- considerably thinner than this mat.
