If you’re looking to Step It Up in your next at-home yoga session, here are some ways to work your legs:
In a high lunge, hold the lunge and then bend the back knee towards the ground. This will intensify the stretch on the opposite hip flexor and also work that quad. Repeat 10 times per leg, per lunge.
In Warrior II, externally rotate the front leg as you bend the knee over the ankle, then press down through the heel to come back to standing. Repeat 10 times per leg.
In chair pose, hold for 10 seconds, and then stand up straight. Then return back to chair pose, and stand up straight. Repeat moving in and out of chair 10 times.
