If you’re struggling to get into a pair of pants that are just a bit too tight, try this Pilates ab engagement exercise and continue on with your day:

Literally pull your naval in towards your spine while zipping up a tight pair of pants – try zipping your pants while pulling your lower abs in.

Tilt your pelvis so that your hips are under your ribs, and engage your core.
- During the day, continue pulling your low abs in by squeezing your transverse abdominis muscle (the area right below your waistline, along the zipper).

Continue to engage the low abs – train your body to squeeze in towards the center!
