How To Make Working Out FUN

Is one of your excuses for not working out because it’s boring? In order for you to enjoy doing something, it needs to be fun! Here are some quick tips to make your workout more fun:
- Create a new play-list for yourself. In one study, it was shown that people work out harder when their music is more upbeat and when they like it, as opposed to a slower work out with slower music. Step It Up and crank up your music!
- Move your body to the beat of the music. Sick of running? What if you sped up and slowed down based on the beat of the music? You can manually change the speed, OR you can take quicker steps when the music speeds up, and take longer strides when the song is slower.
- Switch it up: Does doing cardio for more than 5 minutes bore you? Then hop off the cardio equipment and do some push-ups, abs, arm exercises, or squats. Then hop back on to cardio and repeat. Keep yourself moving, keep your brain interested, and keep your body guessing what’s going to come next in your workout!
