How to Sweat More in Your Practice

Here are some additions for your yoga practice when you’re feeling like really detoxing, working hard, and sweating:

Instead of standing in Tadasana at the beginning and end of a sun salute, stand in Chair pose. Use your thighs and glutes and feel the burn.

Instead of stepping back to plank, jump back through chaturanga.

Or, you can balance into crow first and then shoot your legs back and jump back through chaturanga.

Instead of going through chaturanga with two feet on the ground, lift one leg up and do one-legged chaturanga.

Repeat these options during each vinyasa!
