How to Make Holiday Treats Healthier
If you’re looking for some holiday treats to make on your own at home, here are
some ideas:
- If you enjoy making holiday cookies, look for recipes that are vegan. They will not include many fattening ingredients and are usually healthier for you.
- Instead of serving fruit cakes or pies, try serving a bowl of fruit sprinkled with coconut or shaved almonds as a sweet, healthy dessert.
- Keep an organic chocolate bar in your cupboard for times when you’re craving a candy bar.
