Step It Up in Tree Pose
If you find yourself wobbly in Tree Pose, or if you’d like to make it more difficult,
here are some tips:
- Pick a gazing point a few feet in front of you, on the ground. Gently tilt your gaze down to this point, and press down into the ground with your standing leg’s heel and pull in from your naval.
- Keeping good posture, try to stand taller by pressing more into the ground with your standing leg’s foot and lifting up through the crown of your head.
- Keep your breathing steady.
- To make Tree Pose more challenging, you can close your eyes softly and notice how taking away one sense affects your balance!
