Work Out Without Moving

Generally when we think about a relaxing workout, we think of slow movements or a less intense workout. But what about turning your relaxing workout into a relaxation session? By training your body to relax, you will reduce cortisol levels (cortisol is the stress hormone) which will reduce weight gain! Here are a few quick ways to totally relax:

Use an eye pillow that is scented. Simply lie in bed, close your eyes, and place an eye pillow over your eyes.

Do some deep breathing exercises: Breathe in and out through your nose. Fill your stomach up with a lot of air, then slowly breathe out and feel your stomach deflate. Assign meaning to your breath, such as breathing in confidence, and breathing out fear.

Focus on something positive in your life, and keep that image in your head. Focus on that image to work on centering your mind and your thoughts.
