This classic 1/8" thick mat provides traction and at the same time allow for a firm surface for your yoga routine.
Each roll is 102' 6" long, which is long enough to cut 18 mats that are 68" long or 17 mats
that are 72" long. When shopping for yoga mat rolls, note that most rolls are 100' feet long. Our
extra 2' 6" allows you to get one extra mat out of the roll. Also, the total weight of this roll is 43
pounds -- compared to around 33 pounds for most competitors' rolls -- which is
indicative of the extra thickness and density of these mats.

Cutting Mats
Yoga mat rolls can be quickly and easily cut into mats of any desired length. The most important
trick for cutting good mats is to hava a quality mat cutter. We recommend using a
45mm Rotary Yoga Mat Cutter made by Olfa. To cut mats, decide on the desired
length for each mat, and put two pieces of tape, each about 3' wide, on the floor that distance apart. Make sure that
the two pieces of tape are perfectly parallel by measuring the distance on both ends of each piece of tape. Then,
place the end of the mat roll on one piece of tape, and place a 2' wide piece of cardboard over the other piece
of tape. Roll the mat roll about 1 foot past the other piece of tape and then, using your rotary mat cutter,
cut above the other piece of tape by firmly pressing your mat cutter through the mat and just into the cardboard.
Make sure to keep the blade perfectly vertical, and carefully follow the horizontal lines that are part of
the yoga mat texture. Once set up in this manner, cutting an entire mat roll can be done in as little as 15 minutes.
