I didn't really think about it, but no tassles means that the blankets are hemmed, this is maybe not so good for yoga as you have to be careful about where you place the seams as it can be uncomfortable. Otherwise, I do like the weave and simplicity of these cotton blankets.

Very Disappointed
The product highlights claim that this blanket has a "heavy, dense, tight weave." It does not. I have washed it twice (the second time in hot water) and even dried it in a hot dryer, hoping it would shrink and the weave would tighten up. I can still see through it. It is very floppy and does not have the support that I was looking for.
