Foods To Eat to Keep You Centered 

What we eat has a large effect on our mood, energy level, and even stress. Here are some tips on what to eat to keep you feeling centered:

  • Vegetables and fruits are full of nutrients, and the natural sugar in fruit can create a good feeling and boost energy. Opt for fruit when you want something sweet.
  • Pair your fruit or veggies with a protein, but stick to a fist-size serving when eating meat or beans, or a handful of nuts. This will help keep your energy levels steady even after the natural sugar from the fruit wears off.
  • Finally, avoid foods with artificial sweeteners, such as pastries, candy, and packaged foods, as they will alter your energy levels, as well as affect your mood.
