If you find that you’re extremely lethargic when you wake up, here are some tips to feel more energized:

- As soon as you get out of bed, start to stretch. Reach your arms up, take a deep breath in, and then fold forward. Stretch your hamstrings and back, and then slowly roll up.
- While you’re brushing your teeth, do some squats or lunges in place to get your muscles warmed up and energized for the day.
- If you consistently feel lethargic when you wake up, think about what you ate the night before. You could have a “food hangover”, which would make you feel really tired the morning after eating a lot of food or not the right food for your body.
