Spring Into Your Yoga Practice With winter coming to an end, here are some tips to literally spring into your yoga practice this Spring: o From Downward Facing Dog, deeply bend your knees and reach your tailbone up towards the sky. Engage your abs, jump your feet forward in between your hands, and land softly. Think about jumping forward like a spring rather than landing with a loud thud. o From a standing Forward Fold, bend your knees and place your hands flat in front of you on your mat. Jump your feet back into Chaturanga, keeping your elbows bent. Think about springing back into this position rather than being stiff. o Finally, from Tadasana, bend your knees and jump to face sideways, landing with your feet wide and knees bent. Then move into Warrior II. o Adding graceful jumps and treating your body like a spring is an excellent way to reinvigorate your yoga practice this Spring.
