In the cold winter months,
soup is a popular option for lunch or dinner, or even a snack.
Here are some of the best soups to have to maintain good health:
- Bean soups. Typically bean soups contain lots of vegetables. Vegetables paired with beans make a great, balanced meal or snack.
- Minestrone soups. These are great because they have lots of vegetables with a lesser amount of carbs (usually in the form of pasta) than chicken noodle or rice soups.
- Try to stay away from creamy soups. These are typically more fattening and don’t provide as much protein and nutrients as the others.
