I've noticed a big difference with this mat compared to the cheaper brands I used to own. Thickness and comfort is awesome but the only downside is that it does have greasy layer that causes me to slip alittle bit. I will try to clean with Dawn soap and see what happens. The weight of it is quite heavier than most but as long as it's comfortable enough to support my knees I don't mind carrying the extra weight.

Nice, heavy mat. No odor. No slip. AND...they arrived EARLY! I ordered enough to supply a new studio and was very pleased to beat my deadline. Very pleased!

This is a heavy weight durable and sturdy mat. The price is very reasonable and the quality of the mat is worth the money.

I got this mat in black, and the black OM bag, for my 34-year-old daughter, who requested it for Christmas. I picked this mat because it will last for at least 20 years, it's thick and sticky, and if she takes it to a studio class, it gets respect.

I love this mat. Hands down the best and I have tried ALOT! My students have numerous brands of mats, including some very high dollar mats and they all ask me to use my spare and are ordering these! The cushion is just right, they stay sticky in the hot room and mine is 5 yrs old (at least) and is like new with daily classes 4 times a day!

Best Mat on Yoga Accessories for the Price
I own a yoga studio and after complaints over slippery PVC mats, I did some research and tried this mat out - the price is right and it is a professional-style yoga mat. The top later is textured and has a great grippiness that my students love. The light blue mat matches my decor perfectly. This is an underrated mat that deserves some attention. The only downside is the weight makes shipping rather costly.

A good, but not great, mat
I bought this mat almost two months ago and have used it twice a week since. The pro is that it definitely has extra cushioning and feels good underfoot. The con, however, is its greasy coating. It feels greasier than any other mat I''ve bought, and I''ve felt like I have to fight to keep my stability in many postures. A wash in cool-ish water helped a bit, but there''s still an unpleasant slipperiness to it. I''ll try a light rub of vinegar & water next and see if that makes more of a difference.

Good value for the price. Nice thickness. Only I still occasionally slide on this mat, and it''s supposed to be non-slip. I do like the thickness, and although it''s latex free it still has that odor, which I''m hoping will fade in time.

My partner loved my Dragonfly so much that i decided to purchase another one for her. I recently compared my mat to a more costly Hugger Mugger Tapas Performance and the Dragonfly is actually a little thicker and has more density. Love this mat!

Dragonfly Yoga Mat Review
Be aware if you order from Canada, that UPS will charge you an extra broker fee of 29.99 + taxes for dealing with customs, not included in the delivery fee already charged when you do the purchase. I finished paying double of the cost of the Mat (more than $60) on Shipping because of this. The Mat itself is ok. It has a strong smell to rubber that I guess will go away. It is not sticky as others higher quality mats, so I still need a towel or something to avoid to slide.
