The Yoga Accessories Thai Yoga Massage Mat is an ultra-thick, futon-style yoga mat, perfect for meditation, restorative yoga, or yin yoga. Featuring a removable, machine-washable cotton cover and stuffed with organic cotton batting, this versatile yoga mat doubles as a bed for camping trips or sleep-overs! This mat is self-sufficient, with built-in storage ties and a carrying strap.

Our organic cotton is grown in the southern and western regions of India. The cotton used to stuff our products is a by-product after spinning, after all the seeds, debris, etc. are removed first. No chemicals are used in this cotton.

**Please note, due to the organic process and manufacturing of our organic cotton, products may have a natural, "oatmeal" like aroma. This aroma fades over time as with most organic cotton materials.

Great sleep

I purchased several of these a few years ago, to stack 2 together to make a small mattress. These are excellent and well-loved. I was drawn to these because they are made of natural materials. Not disappointed! They are comfortable and soft while offering enough padding between you and a slat frame. One tip, though, only roll these up and out. Lifting up will disturb the cotton and work may have to be done to redistribute properly.

Just the thing for Yoga Nidra!

This is my first purchase at Yoga Accessories, and I wasn't sure what to expect. However, this mat far exceeded my expectations. It was delivered within a few days, in pristine condition (I ordered the off-white!), no off-gassing odors, and the craftsmanship is lovely. I'm using it for my Yoga Nidra and Yin practices, and it is perfect.

Love this mat!

This mat works perfectly for me as a pad for my (very firm) organic mattress. I also plan on using it on my camping cot. The best thing about it, aside from the fact that it is organic (which is a requirement for me) is its lack of odor: no chemical smell and especially, no perfume odor - a very rare occurrence in today's odoriferous world. Thank you, YA, for keeping your facility clean and fragrance-free!

Not portable or versatile at all

Be careful to lay out the measurements of this. Planned to take to yoga/meditation class and fold/roll it into zabuton, bolster, etc. Instead it's HUGE, too large to use as anything other than a flat mat, and taking it to class would be like lugging around an old-fashioned sleeping bag. My mat didn't have "attached ties for easy roll-up", and the carrying strap is pretty hard to get on and off the bag. Also, the removable cover only ties on instead of zippers.

be careful before you buy!!!

the green is a dark, dark hunter green -- not lighter at all. the cover material also feels rough. and ya will NOT exchange the cover only -- (after several unanswered emails, i finally had to call them today to discuss an exchange/return) against the grain of their mission, they prefer you instead to ship back a huge, bulky, heavy item and then will re-send a different color. talk about carbon footprint! disappointed with the product and the lack of customer service.

Terrific yoga mat

This is a great organic cotton yoga mat and I use it every day. I put in on the floor for relaxing yoga poses and on my bed at night for a bit of softness and organic cotton between me and my traditional mattress. What a bargain. I love it.

Great mats for relaxation practice and mattress topper

I bought about 8 of these to use in the natural childbirth classes I tought. The pregnant ladies really appreciated them versus laying on the hard floor. Since then, I have used one as a mattress topper, and it really makes a difference. I plan to order more as toppers for my other family members. No smell or fragrance on the mats I received, though I order them years ago. They are bulky but roll up nicely.

A great mat!

Love this mat! Could use it as a sleeping pad...Japanese style! For home use, would be pretty bulky to carry around to class
